On Determining the Sum of Compensation for Punitive Damages

Abstract

There is an intense discussion on how to determine the sum of compensation for the punitive damages.It is also a practical problem in judicatory after it is brought into the law.This article analyzes the present system of the punitive damages in our country and points out some imperfection.Then it introduces the punitive damages of Anglo-American Legal System,and puts forward some lawmaking suggestion.
