30 Cases of Rheumatoid Arthritis Treated by Qiwei Tongbi Oral Liquid

OBJECTIVE To observe clinical efficacy and safety of Qiwei Tongbi Oral Liquid on rheumatoid arthritis belonging to deficiency of liver and kidney,wind and dampness blocking meridians.METHODS 60 patients were divided into 2 groups.30 cases in control group were administrated with methotrexate,hydroxychloroquine sulfate and celecoxib;while 30 cases in treatment group were given methotrexate,hydroxychloroquine sulfate and Qiwei Tongbi Oral Liquid.The treatment course was 8 weeks.RESULTS The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.67%;the control group was 73.33%,P0.05.Results of ESR,C-reactive protein,IgG,joint pain,joint swelling,movement disorder and VAS score of treatment group were better than control group(P0.05).CONCLUSION Qiwei Tongbi Oral Liquid was efficacy and safety on rheumatoid arthritis belonging to deficiency of liver and kidney,wind and dampness blocking meridians.
