Abstract
The nbutyl lactate is synthesised by reaction of lactic acid with nbutyl alcohol in the presence of solid super acid SnCl4·5H2O/C catalyst. The optimum conditions are as follows:molar ratio of lactic acid to nbutyl alcohol was 1∶3 , reflux reaction time was 2.5 h,mass of catalyst was 10%,the yield of nbutyl lacate reached 92.1%.The catalyst had many advantages, such as easy to be made, feasible to be used repeatedly and so on.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
