Abstract
The optimum technological conditions were studied on the synthesis of n-Butyl acetate by the reaction of acetic acid and n-butyl alcohol with SnCl4·5H2O/C as catalyst. It shows that the yield is over 93% when molar ratio of n-butyl alcohol and acetic acid is 1.5:1, reaction time of reflux is 2.0 h, mass of catalyst is 10%. Advantages of the process are higher yield, simple procedure, shorter reaction time, non-corrosive, non-pollution, etc.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
