Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical value of transcranial doppler (TCD) inspection on cerebral vasospasm. Method: 30 cases with intracranial aneurysm were diagnosed as vasospasm by TCD, and statistical analysed the Fisher scale of the subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH), opportunity of surgery, frequence of SAH before operation, aneurysm rupture in operation and intracerebral and intraventricular hemorrhage after operation. Result: Cerebral vasospasm occurred in 17 cases (56.7%);symptomic cerebral vasospasm occurred in 11 cases (36.67%); cerebral infarction due to cerebral vasospasm occurrde in 7 cases (23.33%). Conclusion: TCD is an effective method to inspect cerebral vasospasm which is related to SAH before operation, opportunity of operation, frequency of SAH before operation, intracerebral and intraventrical hemorrhage after operation; TCD may prospect delayed cerebral ischemia and infarction as well as guide the treatment at some degree.
