Aesthetic evaluation of anterior teeth defect restored with fiber posts and resin cores

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the aesthetic effects of anterior teeth defect restored with fiber posts and resin cores after long-term clinical observation.Methods 30 anterior teeth from 21 patients were restored with fiber posts and resin cores an porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.Results After observation for 6 months,the success rate of 30 restorations reached 100%.After 6 months,the success rate reached 96.7%.The color of gingival were not changed,and no root or post broken were found.Conclusion Fiber posts and resin cores have satisfactory aesthetic effects,and can meet clinical standard.
