Abstract
The poetry of Liu Chenweng has some characteristics that distinguish him from other poets in the poetic circle in the period when the Song Dynasty was changing into the Yuan Dynasty.Very often his poems give expression to hid deep sorrow at the fall of his nation as well as depicting the beauty of Nature.His poetry was very different in style from that of the Jiangxi school of poetry and the itinerant poets,which stood out from others in his day when the Song Dynasty was changing into the Yuan Dynasty
