A Study on Actuality and Protection Countermeasure of State-level Beijing Historic Cultural Towns and Villages

The state-level historic cultural towns and villages,selected jointly by the Ministry of Construction and the State Cultural Relics Bureau since 2003,have rich cultural relics and important historical values,which can fully reflect the history of traditional style and local ethnic characteristics of towns and villages. Currently,there are five villages and one town included in the list of state-level historical and cultural towns and villages. They are the cultural roots of Beijing region as the important carriers of residents' homesickness. In the rapid development of urbanization and new rural construction,to discuss historic cultural towns' and villages' protection dynamic at home and abroad,to study the causes of the moving of original residents of the Beijing state-level historic and cultural towns and villages and the constructive destruction for the development of leisure tourism,and at the sametime,to put forward existing problems on protection countermeasure,there will be historical and practical significance.
