Abstract
By using cross-sectional data in 2000,this paper empirically tests the influence of trust index in every area in China on regional industrial agglomeration.The results shows that trust index in every area has remarkably effected regional industrial agglomeration.Thereby,it proves that social capital advances economic growth through accelerating industrial agglomeration and the difference of social capital level between the areas is an important reason for regional economic disparity.
