Abstract

[ Objective ] To study apoptosis of lung carcinoma cells induced by retionoic acid (RA) . [ Method ] Apoptosis induced by RA in A59 cell lines of lung cancer was detected with acredine organge (AO) fluororent staining and trans ecetron microscope respectively. [Result]After 6 days RA and A59 cell lines were mixed with 5 % C02 incubator, cells were reduced from 20 000/L to 9 000/L, and apoptosis cells and indexes in RA groups were higher than those of control group, P 0.05. Apoptosis cells or bodies in RA groups were also seen with TEM. [ Conclusion] RA can inhibit the increase and induce the apoptosis of lung carcinoma cells.
