Abstract
It uses FEA to build the model of frame of mining dump truck vehicle,then,a general finite element analysis software NASTRAN is used to calculate the free vibration modal parameters.The modal test is completed and the modal parameter of the frame is gained.The comparisons between simulation results and the results obtained from experimental modal analysis confirm that the FEM model is reliable and the model could be used to improve the design of the frame.
