Abstract
Modal FEA and test modal analysis is an effective means of identifying the structure of vehicle dynamic performance. In order to analyze the dynamic performance of the box of dump truck,it establishes the FEA modal and the test modal system of the box with the basic plate elements. Based on the software Hypermesh,it calculates the free vibration modal parameters,and completes the modal test and modal parameter of the box. The comparison between simulation results and experimental modal confirms that the FEM modal is reliable and the modal could be used to improve the design of the frame.
