Abstract
Nowadays, the small-scale peasant mode of production universally exists in our countryside and the influence of the mode of production and its consciousness is overall and profound. It fetters the development of productive force, especially during the course of the modernization construction, it has serious hindrance. The article tries to analyse the small-scale peasant mode of production and its characteristics with related theories of Marxism. Besides, according to the socialist transformation on small farmers in history and our national condition, the article puts forward some views on the transformation of the small-scale peasant mode of production.
