Nefopan combined with tramadol used for postoperative analgesia in patients with cesarean section

Aim To study the balance analgesia efficacy and side effects of nefopan and tramadol after cesarean section.Methods 120ASA I~II patients were randomly divided into two groups,nefopan group(group N) and tramadol group(group T).The patients in group N(n=60)were received nefopan 20 mg+tramadol 500 mg+ondansetron 4 mg and the patients in group T(n=60)received tramadol 700 mg+ondansetron 4 mg by continuous intravenous analgesia(CIA) after cesarean section.The visual analgesia scale(VAS) and Ramsay sedation Scale(RSS) were used to respectively assess the effects of analgesia and sedation at 2,8,12,24,32 hours after infusion of drugs.Side effects such as dizziness,nausea and vomitting were observed at the same time.Results There were no significant differences in VAS and RSS between two groups(P0.05).But side effects were significantly increased in group N compared with those in group T(P0.05).Conclusion The analgesia efficacy of nefopan combined with tramadol was as good as tramadol after cesarean section,but side effects were significantly increased in group T.Group N was safer than group T.
