Abstract
The public elective courses are important among the series courses in responsible to strengthen quality education and broaden the students' knowledge in higher vocational colleges,which is the integral part of the teaching plan.The article introduces the status of public elective course in our college,analyzes the relationship between the improvement of students' comprehensive quality and the elective courses.Through the construction of elective courses,the article summarizes experienced suggestions for further perfecting management and improving the quality for the elective courses,wich provides safeguard for the quality and the sustainable development of elective courses.
