Abstract
China considered the background of economic globalization, especially related to two things in the course of revision of Trade Union Law of the PRC(1992) last year. Firstly, China ratified an international convention --The International Convention of Economical, Social and Cultural Rights in 1997. Secondly, China joined the WTO in 2001. The revision and implementation of Trade Union Law of the PRC should not only abide by relating international conventions, but also protect the trade unions' unity. The Chinese trade unions should also change their traditional work way and use beneficial experience of other countries for reference and recognize the workers' rights. At the same time, the Chinese trade unions should oppose the standpoint that labor rights should link trade. That will reflect Chinese characteristics. This problem will relate to the cost of labor force, collective bargaining and collective contract, productive rules and workers' involvement management in transnational corporations.
