Abstract

China'entry into WTO will bring opportunities and challenges for the development of Chinese economy and the Chinese trade unions.Because the trade unions in western countries put forward a proposal in the 1990s that international labor standards should be linked with international trade.Their goal is to safeguard their workers'rights and interests.Some trade unions in western countries also oppose China's WTO entry.The Chinese trade unions should have their clear-cut stands.
