Rhetorical Effect on Flexible Application of Words

Abstract

This paper analyzes the relationship between flexible application of words of ancient Chinese and Rhetoric;and points out the flexible application of words is not only a kind of grammatical phenomena but also a rhetorical phenomena which needs acknowledgement from two aspects,one is grammatical the other being rhetorical.And the rhetoric effect and usage of flexible application of words are discussed in the paper,too.
