Abstract
The Mesozoic-Cenozoic basin of Jiyang Depression is a superposing basin which superposed multiple tectonic cycles and corresponding sediments deposits.The basin-controlled faults of Jiyang Depression mainly experiences three growing and adjusting phases in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic: thrusting north-westward(westward) during the late Indosinian movement,north-west-trending(west-trending) faults reversing during the middle-late Yanshan movement,and north-west-trending(west-trending) faults disappearing and north-eastward extending during interim of the Yanshan and Himalayan movements.Based on the structural characteristics,the Mesozoic-Cenozoic superposing basin of Jiyang Depression could be classified into four types of superimposing units: in both Mesozoic and Cenozoic,sag in the Mesozoic and in the Cenozoic,uplift in the Mesozoic and sag in the Cenozoic,and uplift in both Mesozoic and Cenozoic.The reservoiring models are established for every kind of superimposing units based on the effect analysis of superposing patterns of faults,interfaces and tectonic stocks on oil-gas accumulating.It is concluded that the superimposing units of both in the Mesozoic and in the Cenozoic and uplift in the Mesozoic and sag in the Cenozoic are most favorable for oil and gas accumulation.
