Case Teaching Mode Applied to the English Classroom

Although the case teaching originated from such fields as business, medicine, law and public management, and so on, the teaching practice has proved that it can be applied to college English teaching. This type of teaching method fully embodies the requirements for the students' whole participation and discussion in their studies so that the traditional teaching mode and the teaching role between the teacher and students can be changed, thus not only mobilizing the students' initiative for study, but also promoting the training of the abilities of both language use and creative thinking.
