Abstract
Gene delivery has numerous potential applications in both clinical and basic research.However,gene vector has been an obstacle to the development of this technology.In recent years,non-viral vectors have drawn great interest because of their safety,low toxicity and low immunogenecity.This article reviews the mechanism of transfection mediated by non-viral vectors,such as liposome and polyethylenimine to provide information for designing new non-viral vectors with high transfection efficiency.
