Combat Effectiveness Evaluation to Armor Based on Combat Simulation

The relation between performance of main battle tank and its combat effectiveness is very important in development of main battle tank. A new method to evaluate combat effectiveness of main battle tank is proposed on the basis of combat simulation. It includes building up the combat effectiveness index, combat model and platform for combat simulation, carrying out combat simulation of main battle tank and summing up its result, main indexes choice of combat effectiveness, building up an express to evaluate the combat effectiveness. Simulation with different performance value determines different combat effectiveness responding to its result, so the relation between performance of main battle tank and its combat effectiveness is built. It is mainly used to evaluate various tanks and optimize design scheme of tank. Experiment shows that the method is reasonable.
