Abstract
The causes of prosperity of Jiangxi literature in Song dynasties period are complex,among which the imperial examination system has played a key role.The imperial examination system has not only promoted the great popularization of Jiangxi culture and the development of school education but also urged the Jianxi natives to squeeze into political center,both of which have contributed to the prosperity of Jiangxi literature.
