Imperial Examination System and Jiangxi Culture in the Northern and Southern Song Dynasties Period

The cause of prosperity of Jiangxi Culture in Two Song Dynasties Period was complicated.A macroscopic analysis of it is made in this paper.The research on the spread and development of Imperial Examination System and Jiangxi Culture,the flourish of schooling,the boom of literature,historical science,schools of thought,and the Jiangxi natives becoming the great majority of staffs in the political leading centre,illustrates that the Imperial Examination system promoted greatly the development of Jiangxi Culture in the period of two Song Dynasties and the research also helps us to have an overall understanding of the cause of prosperity of Jiangxi Culture in that period.
