Research Progress of Tumor Lymphangiogenesis and Lymphatic Metastasis

The relationship of tumor lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic metastasis had important significance in the research of tumor metastasis mechanism,VEGF-C and VEGF-D were representative lymphangiogenesis factors which tumor can produce massively,they can induce tumor lymphangiogenesis through being combined with their corresponding receptor VEGFR-3.The earliest way of solid tumor metastasis was through lymph vessels to regional lymph node,so the investigation of tumor lymphangiogenesis was helpful to prevent tumor metastasis and found the new way to cure cancer.
