Analysis of 7·17 Rainstorm and Forecasting Service Deviation in Eastern Xinjiang

This paper analyzed the rainstorm on July 17,2007 in eastern Xinjiang.The results indicated that this rainstorm was caused by the factors such as adequate vapor and unstable energy,combining with an upper trough and shear line;the low-level jet stream strengthened the raise of air current and the transportation of moisture.Finally,we reviewed the reasons for forecasting service deviation.
