Theoretical Study on River Functional Zoning

With the study of the river's natural attributes,social services,and attributes of the ecological environment,the necessity of the river functional zoning is analyzed.And then the system which is divided into four first-order regions,followed by second-order regions,is established.In the end,the paper describes the method of the river functional zoning,as well as the reasonable checks and necessary adjustments.The theoretical study not only provides a functional zoning idea for the practical river functional zoning,but also effectively makes certain the implementation of the water regulation based on science and law.
