The diagnostic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody and rheumatoid factor for the rheumatoid arthritis

Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnosic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(anti-CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Anti-CCP Antibody was defected by quantitative ELISA and rheumatoid factor by BNP nephelometer in 45 cases of RA and 63 cases of non-RA rheumatic diseases.Results The sensitivity of anti-CCP antibody was 80.0%,with a high specificity(93.7%) in RA.And the sensitivity of RF was 75.6%,with a high specificity(77.8%).Conclusion Anti-CCP antibody has better sensitivity and specificity for rheumatoid arthritis,combining anti-CCP antibody and RF can in crease diagnosis sensitivity and specificity of RA,indicating it is a uesful laboratory marker for early diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.
