Developing Model of Test Anxiety and Influencing Factors for Secondary School Students

Abstract

Objective:To build relationship model of test anxiety for secondary school students.Methods:648 students of secondary school were assessed with Test Anxiety Scale. The Influencing factors on test anxiety were also collected, a relationship model was set up by structure equation modeling.Results:Environment of the classroom where students having test was the objective factor that led to test anxiety, worry and self-abasement were the mediate factors, with self-abasement had greater influence.Conclusion:Both objective environment and subjective factors have influence on test anxiety.
