The Significance of Cystatin C in the Early Diagnosis of Renal Function Changes

Objective To explore the clinical value of Cystatin C in the early diagnosis of renal function changes.Methods 110 cases of kidney disease patients and 40 cases of healthy workers,treated in,from June 2009~2010,were analized.The level of serum creatinine(Scr) and creatinine clearance(Ccr),serum Cystatin C were detected by the means of latex particles enhance immune assay(PETIA).The correlation between serum Cystatin C,Ccr and Scr.were studied respectively.Results The GFR,Cystatin C,Scr,Ccr level in the patients with GFR30 mL/(min·1.73 m2),has obviously difference with the patients with patients GFR≥30 mL/(min·1.73 m2)(P0.01).Cystatin C,Scr and Ccr all have correlativity with GFR,P0.05.Cystatin C and GFR correlated most closely.Conclusion Serum Cystatin C is a reliable index to evaluate the glomerulus function,which could be a simple method of early renal function changes diagnose,it is worth to be popularized.
