Abstract
For the BLDCM which has a general crest width of the back-EMF waveform,two kinds of torque ripple condition when drived by sine-wave current as well as by square-wave current were analyzed and compared in this paper.A low cost current-sensorless vector control drive for BLDCM which has a pseudo-sinusoidal back-EMF waveform with only low-resolution position sensor was proposed.The position estimation algorithm was based on average rotor speed,and the simulation validated the effectiveness of the proposed drive system.
