Abstract
Proposed a new technique of suppressing the torque ripple in brushless DC motors(BLDCM) with trapezoidal-shaped back-EMF.Starting from the model of BLDCM,analyzed the factors influencing the electromagnetic torque, and applied optimal control on the stator currents to the torque ripple minimization.Extensive simulation results proved the superiority and simplicity of the proposed method in a wide range of speed, which was suitable for some high-performance applications.
