Abstract

The present situation of disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is briefly described; recycling WEEE and elimination of hazardous materials is underlined. Some practical techniques regarding equipment disassembly, plastic recycling and separating hazardous materials are enumerated and evaluated.
