Abstract

As new technologies of magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) have been applied in clinical diagnosis. So it is extremely necessary for us to have a clear cognition of what are DWI and DTI and how they work. This article illustrates the principle of DWI and DTI, and gives precise explanations of some relative conceptions, further more it analyzes some affecting factors and the differences between DTI and DWI.
