Clinical analysis of Naoxintong capsule treating transient ischemic attack: a report of 136 cases

Objective To observe the effect of Naoxintong capsule treating transient ischemic attak(TIA).Method 260 patients with TIA were randomly divided into treatment group(n=136),which were treated by Naoxintong capsule and control group(n=124),which were treated by Asp.The therapeutic course was 8 weeks in both groups.Frequency of TIA,improvement of symptoms and indexes of hemorrheology before and after treatment were observed.Results There was no significant difference in frequency of TIA between the two groups after treatment(P0.05),but there was significant difference in symptoms between the two groups(P0.01).There was significant difference of hemorrheology before and after treatment in both groups(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion Naoxintong capsule has excellent effect in the treatment of TIA.
