Abstract

[Objective]To probe the repair method and effect of dissociated segmented-fibula osteoseptocutaneous flap transfer to treat chronic traumatic osteomyelitis complication with bone defect in tibia.[Method]A total of 156 cases were reconstructed with the microsurgery method at first stage after inflammable bone and soft tissue focus were exsection.[Result]We found all the flaps and the dissociated fibula survived in 2~6 months(mean 3.2 months) after followed up with 6~60 months. The reconstruction bone and flaps unioned well at first stage in 140 cases and 13 cases at second stage, but there were left behind sinus in 3 cases. The osteomyelitis recurred in 1 case, and vein-crisis also occurred in 6 cases which all achieved succeed by re-anastomose operation.[Conclusion]It is a choice to repair the chronic osteomyelitis complication with bone defect by microsurgery technique, but the method have some operative risks and need on the basis of the inflammable controlled well,so the clinical physician should master the range or indications.
