Looking at the Inheritance and Protection of Miao Drum Culture from an Ethnology Perspective

As a cultural symbol,drum has very rich connotation in the social lives of Miao people.Through the existing forms of custom of Miao drum in different Miao dialects and the spiritual connotation reflected from the oral folk songs,this paper probes the inheritance and rearing of national spirits,the protection of Miao drum that acts on strengthening self-consciousness of national culture and promoting the progress and harmony of human beings etc.from an ethnology perspective.
