Abstract

Objective To study the expression of bFGF, Ln in brain after intracerebral hemorrhage and effect of Panax notogin- seng saponins. Method Immunohistochemistry technique has been used to examine the change of expression of bFGF and Ln in rat brain in treatment group and control group after intracerebral hemorrhage. Result bFGF immunoreactivity was found in neuron and glial cell in cortex, hippocampus habenular nucleus, and found in macrophage surrounding hematoma ; Ln immunoreactivity was found in neurons, glial cells and blood vessles in frontal cortex, hippocampus. thalamus hppthalamus. All of these active moleculars were en- hanced in treatment group against control group. Conclusion The expression of bFGF, Ln were increased in frontal brain aftet intrac- erebral hemorrhage by Panax notoginseng saponins.
