Abstract
The objective of this study was to master the epidemiologic situation on echinococcosis of human in Jiuzhi county of Qinghai province, and provide scientific basis for constituting control measures. In this paper, ELISA and B-Ultrasound were used to determine comprehensively the infection and the prevalence status of human echinococcosis. The results indicated that the positive rate by ELISA examination was 29.26%(287/981) and prevalence rate was 8.01%(124/1549),in which cystic echinococcosis and alveolar echinococcosis prevalence rate was respectively 5.42%(84/1549) and 2.52%(39/1549), and there was still one case of hybrid type. The alveolar echinococcosis accounted for 31.45%(39/124) in proportion. The conclusions have been further obtained that cystic echinococcosis and alveolar echinococcosis of human were coexist in Jiuzhi county and they have seriously damaged to human’s health in this county.
