Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of 38 cases of patients with acute paraquat poisoning.Methods The sex and age of these patients and seasonal incidence were observed.The doses of taking paraquat were grouped to compare with mortality and dead causes.Results Female was the most part of the patients with acute paraquat poisoning,and the incidence of the poisoning was highest in summer.The mortality had close relation with the dose of taking paraquat.The respiratory failure was the primary dead causes of the acute paraquat poisoning.Conclusion Acute paraquat poisoning should be treated early by comprehensive therapies,and we should look for more effective treatments.
