A Preliminary Discussion of Beauty in Meaning in the translation of the Poems of the Tang Dynasty

Abstract

Poems of the Tang dynasty are the treasure of ancient literature in China.The beauty in meaning is the soul of these poetry.The present paper makes a study of the beauty of several well-known poems' in the Tang dynasty in meaning so as to show that the beauty in meaning must be expressed in translation,which is also required and used in the principle of beauty in meaning.
