Analysis of Research Capability in Humanities and Social Sciences of Normal Universities and Colleges in China: Data Analysis Based on CSSCI

Statistics and analysis of the source papers and their citations published by normal universities and colleges in China based on CSSCI 198—200 indicate that normal universities and colleges published 20% of source papers published by all universities and colleges in China,81% of it were published by normal universities;counted by disciplines,normal universities and colleges published more than 60% of all source papers in psychology published by all universities and colleges in China,and about 30% of all source papers in literature,history,and philosophy published by all universities and colleges in China;counted by areas,Beijing,Shanghai,and Jiangsu were the First,Second,and Third in quantity of source papers;counted by academic impacts,the cited frequency of each source paper published by normal universities and colleges in China was 0.38 on average,and there were 20 papers cited in each 100 papers of source papers by normal universities and colleges;one of ten source papers was funded by research foundations,its cited frequency was 0.50;each of researchers of RD in normal universities and colleges published 0.39 paper on average each year,and there was 0.22 paper published by expending of ten thousand yuan RMB of RD funds.
