Abstract

Behaviors of the catalyst for furfural decarbonylation to furan were studied by adding promoters and changing the ways of packing. The experimental results showed that conversion, selectivity and service life of the catalyst were enhanced by adding Ni and K promoters;mixed packing of the catalyst improved utilization of the catalyst and yield of furan.
