Abstract
The supported Pt catalysts used for decarbonylation of furfural were studied. Through investigating the effect of the content of active components, supports, additives and reaction conditions on catalyst performances, the optimum support, additive and working conditions were found out, thereby an excellent catalyst has been developed. In the 500 hr life test of this catalyst, the yield of furan was over 85%, superior to known Pd catalyst, and this catalyst has been applied to industrial unit.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
