Abstract
The relationship between polity and ethic is not only a theoretical issue concerned by thinkers of the past dynasties but also a practical one in political and ethical life of contemporary China. Aristotle believed that ethics was subordinate to politics and he designed, to achieve the political goal with the biggest, highest and widest good, family ethic as well as civil ethic. Furthermore he presented such thoughts that politics was public utility and the value idea of political system was justice etc, which showed deep concern over ethical value of political life.
