An Exploration of the Practical Problems in Modern Chinese Higher Education System

Since higher education of modern China has undergone the transition from planned economy to market economy,how should the government,society,and university perform themselves in higher education system? Besides,a difficulty is posed to the university as to the choice between elite education and mass education.Furthermore,with the expansion of the functions of higher education,higher education function system tends to be more and more complex and diversified;therefore,the university's difficulty is aggravated.Based on a reasonable analysis of the practical problems in higher education system,this paper forms a new growth point in Chinese higher education system.
