Abstract

Dry matter accumulation, distribution and translocation of corn Longyu 2 were studied by planting the crop in soil with medium fertility. The results were as follows: the variation of dry weight accumulation per plant was an S curve in corn growth, and it could be fitted by Logistic curve equation: Y=369.23/(1+7061.5494e~(-0.09288x))(r=-0.976,F_(0.05)=7.71,F_(0.01)=21.2,F=80.42~(**)).The dry matter distribution in all organs was changed as the growth center transferred.Dry matter was mainly distributed in leaves before growth of the 15th visible leaf, and then turned to the stems and leaves. The dry matter of each organ began to transfer to the grains after spinning stage and the ears became the distribution center of the photosynthetic products. The translocation rate of dry matter to the grains was 14.56%.
