Abstract
By analyzing the relationship between precipitation in flood season in North Fujian and physical element data in the same period,it is indicated that the vertical speed, vorticity, water vapour flux divergence, divergence, specific humidity etc.can be taken as an indicator to the storm rainfall in North Fujian. The storm rainfall predictive equations of all stations in North Fujian are built up based on the stepwise regression analysis of various factors which consist of these physical elements. The physical element products supplied by T213 are used to predict the storm rainfall in flood season in North Fujian,by means of the perfect prognosis. The predictive equations had a better forecast ability in the experiment of the year 2006.
