Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinic effect of transhepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) with portal vein chemotherapy (PVC) pump implantation in the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus. Methods 94 cases of patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus were divided into TACE+PVC group (58 cases) and TACE group (36 cases). The TACE+PVC group was treated with TACE combined with PVC,while the TACE group was given simply TACE treatment. The clinical effect of 2 groups was observed. Results Both group were followed up for 1,3 and 5 years, the survival rate of the TACE+PVC group was 82.8%,43.1% and 3.4% respectively, which was higher than 44.4%,16.7% and 0 of the TACE group, and the differences were statistically significant (P0.05).Conclusion It is safe and effective for TACE combined with PVC pump implantation in the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombosis.
