Clinical study of Bailing capsule on chronic nephritis

Objective To observe the effect of Bailing capsule on patients with chronic nephritis.Methods 32 patients with chronic nephritis were randomly divided into two groups,16 cases in each group.Control group were treated with low-salt and high-quality protein diet(0.8 mg/kg),aggressive treatment of the primary disease and other underlying disease.On the basis of control group treatment,the observation group was given bailing capsule(5 capsules,three times daily).Urine protein quantitation(Upro) 24 hours,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr),hemoglobin,cholesterol,white protein indicators of the two groups were compared.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Results After treatment,Upro,Scr and albumin of control group were improved significantly(P0.05),Upro,Scr,albumin,BUN,hemoglobin and cholesterol levels of observation group were significantly improved(P0.05).There were significant difference in Upro,BUN,Scr,hemoglobin,cholesterol and albumin changes between the two groups(P0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(87.50% vs.56.25%,P0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional and supportive treatment,Bailing capsule treatment can significantly reduce proteinuria and improve lipid metabolism with great significance to improve the patient's condition and delay the development of chronic nephritis.
